Our Story So Far..

We started out in 1981 designing a better system to replace the old style hinged steel and wooden stage risers that were heavy, bulky ....and dangerous! By 1983 we were incorporated as Apollo Stages and we supplied most of the bands on the road around Australia with their staging, and in the 1990's we branched out into corporate, theatre and school work, which is now our core business.

We have constantly been improving our design over the years, and we consider it to be one of the most versatile systems on the market today. Testament to our design, there have been a few companies building poor imitations, but we stay ahead of the pack with quality and service. In 2003 we took over the Burkinshaw Staging Co. (who operated the "Suprex" stage system) and we now operate both systems as Instant Stages Australia. In 2005 we moved to our new 17,000 sq ft factory in Highett, where we now have all our manufacturing, warehousing and head office under one roof.
